This is my first attempt at my digipak poster and I think the text and other information works well on the old image effect that I have started to introduce into my digipak. In this design, I experimented with the album title and made it similar to the artist's name which I think looks quite good. I have also added my logo, release date and places where the album can be found and these are all important things that need to feature on a poster. I believe that this design could be improved with two changes... First, I think the image I have used doesn't look right and I think this could be replaced with a mid shot of my actor with a plain white background behind him as this will mean that the old image effect will be enhanced and look even more professional. Also, I think I could alter the positioning of the text as it all looks quite muddled at the moment. A better image will help this as if his face is at the top of the poster, all the information can be in the bottom half and could look a bit more engaging. Overall, I am happy with the start I have made on the poster and am comfortable with my theme which I think suits the genre well.
