What I have learnt:
This task has allowed me to recognise what makes a good music video and what doesn't as I have chosen contrasting videos with differing qualities. I have critically graded these videos looking at multiple aspects and have noticed what elements are crucial to get right to achieve the highest marks. Editing is arguably the most important part of the music video production as if cuts appear quickly and to the beat of the song, then it becomes nice to watch and adds professionalism. Additionally, varying locations will be crucial for my own music video as this keeps the audience on their toes whilst demonstrating that effort has been put in. All these factors will need to be planned and thought about during my whole production as they can be the difference between an A and a C.
