What I have learnt:
From carrying out this task, I have learnt to understand the certain elements that exist on a digipak advert. I have noticed that it depends on the genre of music which determines the type of advert produced, as I have shown during this task over three contrasting digipaks, all having different appearances and themes. I feel that for my digipak the picture will be crucial in capturing the attention of the audience straight away before anything else as if it is the artist they will be drawn in. However, I have realised that other codes and conventions must feature on my digipak poster to reach its full potential. I will need to include elements like the artist's name, album name and copyrights credits.
